The Paradise Movie Banner

Nani’s highly anticipated film ‘The Paradise’ is set to release on September 24, generating immense buzz. Advance booking figures for the opening day reflect this excitement. Following the success of ‘HIT: The Third Case’, this Telugu action-thriller reunites Nani with director Srikanth Odela. It is being billed as the ‘Natural Star’s’ biggest theatrical release to date, and early pre-sales indicate it could mark the biggest opening of his career.

Advance Booking Number Updated

According to the latest updates, ‘The Paradise’ has sold approximately 90,000 tickets for its opening day (excluding blocked seats), generating around ₹1.95 crore across 1,756 shows. Including blocked seats, the total opening-day revenue exceeds ₹6.34 crore. This figure is expected to rise steadily as more shows open over the next two days.

In terms of language, the Telugu 2D version is driving the most business, accounting for a significant share of both ticket sales and collections. This is followed by contributions from the EPIQ format in Hyderabad and limited screenings in Hindi and Tamil.

Total Pre-sales Cross ₹14 Crore Over 4 Days

Looking at the four-day advance booking window (Day 1 through Day 4), total pre-sales for ‘The Paradise’ stand at approximately ₹14 crore (including blocked seats). There has been an increase of over ₹11 crore in the last 24 hours alone, signaling rising demand as the release date approaches.

Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Lead the Way

State-wise data shows Telangana leading, followed by Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. Among cities, Hyderabad is the top contributor, followed by Bengaluru and Vizag. In Hyderabad alone, advance bookings for the first day have already generated over ₹1 crore in revenue (including blocked seats). Occupancy levels in the city are significantly higher than the national average, strongly indicating that the Telugu states are poised to deliver one of the biggest openings of this actor’s career.

Anticipating a Career-Best Opening

Currently, the record for Nani’s biggest opening day in India is held by Dasara, which earned ₹23.2 crore (net). Industry observers expect The Paradise to easily surpass this figure and potentially become Nani’s first film to gross ₹30 crore (net) on its opening day. If the film generates positive word-of-mouth after release, it could perform even better.

There is immense excitement surrounding the film ahead of its release. Its promotional campaign particularly the song “Aaya Sher” has created a massive buzz, piquing the interest of general audiences alongside Nani’s dedicated fan base. With paid previews already confirmed and no traditional trailer released, the makers have relied entirely on the music and public conversation to build anticipation.

With just two days left until the release, bookings are expected to rise further as more shows and cities open for reservations. If audiences turn out in large numbers on September 24 and appreciate the content, The Paradise could well become the film with the biggest opening of Nani’s career.
